We’re on the lookout for a Conveyancer (Technical Specialist)  with a strong background in residential conveyancing to help deliver exceptional results across technically complex files. Whether you're looking to work from home or in our office, you'll play a central role in driving file progression, reducing transaction timeframes, and enhancing client experiences – all while championing our forward-thinking, digital-first approach.

Whilst you won't be the first point of contact for clients like a case handling conveyancer, you will need to be proactive, and happy to speak with colleagues and candidates in this role. This is not an opportunity for people wanting to hide away behind the scenes! This Conveyancer (Technical Specialist) role would suit someone who has gained a fully rounded sphere of knowledge of conveyancing and is ready to be hands on in resolving issues and assisting clients.

What you’ll do as a Conveyancer (Technical Specialist):

• Support and guide conveyancers with complex legal files and technical matters
• Make commercially minded, risk-based decisions to drive progression
• Handle intricate legal issues including transfers of part, solar panels, leaseholds, restrictions, estate rent charges, and more
• Draft and check high-level legal documentation autonomously
• Liaise effectively with clients, agents, lenders and internal teams
• Embrace and implement technology, AI and automation tools
• Proactively share knowledge and help shape the future of conveyancing at Simplify

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years’ conveyancing experience and has managed their own caseload
• Has strong technical knowledge across a wide range of complex matter types
• Is commercially astute, detail-oriented and proactive
• Can confidently assess risk and solve problems efficiently
• Communicates clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Stays up to date with legislation and case law developments
• Is passionate about innovation, learning, and driving continuous improvement
